Designed on customer request - The picture of a plate mounted on an emty STAX shell is of our last prototype (printed by customer) which did not yet have the mount for earpads as part of the design (fitting fase). its for reference only.

This is our 3D printed adapter plates that works with Stax electrostatic earspeakers, specifically:

• Stax Lambda NOVA Classic

Confirmed ear pad compatibility 83mm x 108mm mount:

• ZMF Oval ear pads

• Brainwavz ear pads (oval)

Confirmed ear pad compatibility XB Mount:

• XB 500 ear pad (Sony)

• XB 700 ear pad (Sony)

• XB 1000 ear pad (Sony)

In our opinion the ported adapter option adds some low end to the sound.

In our opinion the non-ported adapter option widens the soundstage.

Mounting instructions:

Replaces the metal plate, and as so you screw this PadMod on with the original screws, but the speaker unit itself needs to be mounted to the PadMod with double sided tape as on the original plate.
